Knowing You

A series of  vignettes that spans two continents and two realities stretching from 1980s to present day Cape Town and bursting with South African song!
American student Amy meets Mundi and Elizabeth in Cape Town 2010. As Elizabeth tells Amy the story of her life, she re-imagines her real daughter Melanie as a silent figure and her real future son-in-law Rowland as a colonial explorer/frat boy. The space of Elizabeth’s memory is cool and tinged blue. Will Elizabeth be able to relive the most painful moments of her life to connect with Amy in the present day?
