Hello and Welcome!

I am a director, educator, and community-engaged artist currently based in Austin, Texas!

I graduated in May 2020 with my MFA in Theatre for Youth and Community at Arizona State University where I pursued a thesis on trauma-responsive rehearsal practice: Rocks in the Riverbed: Building a Trauma-Responsive Workbook for Theatre Practitioners. I have been fortunate enough to collaborate/train with numerous companies over the last 10 years including Sojourn Theatre, SITI Company, Cornerstone Theatre, Urban Bush Women, The British American Drama Academy, and the San Francisco Mime Troupe.

I was born and raised in Chicago and that city holds a lot of my artistic roots. As an educator, I've taught all ages from four to eight-four. Most recently, I taught Acting: Viewpoints and Composition and Advanced Viewpoints at ASU and served as a core teaching artist for six years at the Tony Award winning Lookingglass Theatre.

I have also worked as a director and dramaturg at numerous Chicago theatres including Sideshow Theatre Company (where I also served as Community Engagement Associate from 2014-2017), Something Marvelous, Next Theatre, Women's Theatre Alliance, Waking Theatre, and my own theatre company, Eleusis Collective.

I currently serve as co-artistic director of Sleeveless Acts, a community-based theatre company based in Phoenix, Arizona and as the Expect Respect Educational Theatre Manager at SAFE Alliance in Austin, Texas. Read more about my Mission below!
