The Last Sleepover
Sixteen-year-old Magdalena loves Sarah without hesitation. But on the eve of entering adulthood, outside forces—parents, boys, and society—threaten to tear them apart. Most menacing, Magdalena realizes she will need to disentangle herself in order to find her own way. Will Magdalena become Magdalena? The Last Sleepover asks: Do we lose ourselves in the process of finding "the One"?

The Last Sleepover was developed as part of Eleusis Collective’s “Rutland Project” and residency in Rutland, Vermont. It was an official selection of the 2012 Chicago Fringe Festival and played September 6th, 7th, and 9th, at Pilsen’s Chicago Art Department. Find out more about "The Rutland Project" here.
